Can I access DegreeWorks on any computer?
Yes. Access to DegreeWorks is through the Web. Anywhere you can log in to Roadrunner Portal will allow you access to DegreeWorks.
Is my information confidential?
Yes. Like other processes you use through myDaltonState, DegreeWorks is accessed through your secure log in. Remember that your advisor, faculty, and selected staff will be able to view the information contained in DegreeWorks.
Who has the ability to access DegreeWorks?
Currently, DegreeWorks is available to all currently enrolled students who are using 2006-2007 or later catalogs to fulfill their degree requirements. Advisors, faculty, and selected staff will also have access for the purpose of supporting your progress through your academic career.
Can I register for classes in DegreeWorks?
No. DegreeWorks is a snapshot of courses in-progress, planned, and in academic history. You may create a plan using the planner feature, but this is for planning purposes only.
Can I see how many classes I have left to fulfill my requirements?
Yes. DegreeWorks is laid out in block format that displays degree, major, and minor requirements information. Look for unchecked boxes to identify requirements that you still need to complete.

Yes. See the Planner section for information.
Are my grades visible in DegreeWorks?

Can I see a list of all the classes I’ve taken?
Yes. On the Audit tab, click on the Class History link at the top for a printable list of courses taken at Dalton State as well as transfer courses. NOTE: This is NOT the equivalent of an official transcript.
What do I do if I believe my academic information is incorrect?
Your academic advisor is your primary point of contact. If your advisor determines that your audit is incorrect, he/she will contact the Office of the Registrar for assistance. If you find that you still have questions, please submit your questions to [email protected].
Why isn’t my information up-to-date?
There could be some paperwork that needs to be completed. For example, if you have recently submitted a major change form, this process can take up to 7-10 Business days to be completed.
How can I update my information?
You cannot update course information in DegreeWorks. To change your major or minor, you would submit a major change form to the Registrar’s Office. This form can be accessed at http://bzc3.zb-fc.com/academics/registrar/current-and-former-student-forms.
How is my degree evaluation different from my transcript?
Your degree evaluation is a tool to provide you with academic information related to your major. It displays courses required and completed in your program of study.
Your transcript is your official university record and provides a chronological list of courses completed and other academic information. Your official transcript must be requested from the Registrar’s Office. http://bzc3.zb-fc.com/academics/registrar/transcripts
